The Coldbros are back to talk more about Middle Earth and the continued drama behind Amazon's The Rings of Power. More developments means more discussion, and some developments have some Tolkien fans alarmed.

We also jump into our first IDAO (I'll do anything once) segment in a long while! In our Coldbow Awards episode, Troy nominated the film The Harder They Fall for best musical score. A nomination he felt went overlooked a bit - so he decided to make a whole damn episode about it!

The Harder They Fall is a western film that released on Netflix in 2021. It stars Idris Elba, Jonathan Majors, Zazie Beetz, LaKeith Stanfield, and more in a story about revenge, bank robberies, and cowboy gangs. The Coldbros discuss the film's soundtrack, story, history, cinematography, & gratuitous violence. The hip slinging gunster in Troy can't get enough.

On this episode of The ColdBow Podcast, the ColdBros take a walk down memory lane while they visit their feelings on the Super Bowl Halftime Show. With the performances of #50cent, #drdre, #eminem, #maryjblidge, and #snoop they discover that Scott is a terrible person who hates a good beat. They also discover a very hot take from Chris about his feelings toward current hip hop vs 90s and early 2000s hip hop.

This walk down memory lane ends up taking a turn toward Bucklebury Ferry and on to The Inn of the Prancing Pony as the Bros discuss the upcoming Amazon Original, The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power. Scott remains an old angry man completely set in his ways and unwilling to see reason, but some good discussion unfolds and explains some of the drama around this highly anticipated series.

It was announced that Amazon is doing a new Lord of the Rings series. So, the Coldbow Podcast decided to help them out and recast the Fellowship + Gollum. Jake is the judge and Troy, Chris, and Scott have to convince him to pick their choices. The cast is chosen in pairs as Frodo/Sam, Merry/Pippen, Aragorn/Boromir, Legolas/Gimli, and Gandalf/Gollum.
