<description>The Coldbow Podcast discuss video games a lot. If you haven't learned that by now, you must be new. So welcome!
Troy, Jake, Scott, and Chris discuss the GOAT video game developers. On the list are Rockstar, Sony Santa Monica, Valve, Obsidian, Nintendo, CD Projekt Red, Naughty Dog, and Kojima Productions.
The guys discuss the difference between video game developers and video game publishers - and sometimes they are the same. They discuss the legacy of each pick and how those picks have changed video gaming, and how some of them have even changed pop culture altogether. Check it out and see if you agree!

<description>It was the early 90's. Most kids were playing video games on the SNES or the Sega Genesis. One game came along and rocked everyone's world. That video game was even the catalyst that started rating video games like films because of its violence. Apparently parents didn't like seeing people fighting to the death and being impaled by spikes? The video game they were referring to was Mortal Kombat. Not long after the game had 2-3 versions, they made a film. It had a great soundtrack, decent choreography, terrible CGI, and amazing sets and locations, but ultimately it's considered a terrible movie. Now, Mortal Kombat 11 is out and it got the guys thinking... does the 1995 film deserve a second chance? Was it terrible on purpose? Listen to the Coldbros and decide for yourself.

<description>Video game weapons can sometimes be the most memorable part of a video game. Many times it's all you can see when playing a first person shooter. Video games are a form of entertainment where you are the main character and your weapon is the tool in which you can interact with the world created for you. From Mario's fire flower to Link's Ice arrows (Coldbow?). We discuss not only our favorites but the many honorable mentions that unfortunately didn't make the list. Did your favorite make it? Listen in and find out!
